About

Mark started working with RIAs back in 1994 (when most folks in the financial services community had no clue that this form of advice channel via the SEC existed). After spending several years as a “custody wholesaler” for Charles Schwab Advisor Services he went to work for an RIA (based in Cincinnati) and after that firm was purchased by a regional bank, he went back to being a “custody wholesaler” for TD Ameritrade Institutional.  He retired from TD back in 2018 and once again joined another RIA firm (based in Louisville).  That $4.5B firm was sold at the end of 2022 and thus retired a 2nd time — and hence he started WINNER STAYS CONSULTING. 

Mark has been married for 36 incredible years – 3 married adult children | 5 amazing grandchildren. In spare time, he digs holes & shovels gravel for  5 goats | 2 ponies | 8 chickens | 2 dawgs | cat | rabbit…
